A one-click uploader for the webcast admin. Add it as a bookmark once, then use it from any admin page.
Copied — now paste it into a new bookmark
Set it up (once)
Click Copy bookmark address above.
Show your favorites bar if it's hidden — Ctrl+Shift+B.
Go to edge://favorites, click Add favorite. Name it Upload slides, and in the URL field paste what you copied. Save. (The favorites-manager dialog keeps the address intact; the small inline popup sometimes strips it.)
Re-open the favorite to check its address still starts with javascript:. If it does, you're set.
Use it
Log into the webcast admin and open the event you're uploading to. You must be on an admin.easywebcast.com page — the bookmark does nothing anywhere else.
Click the Upload slides favorite. A small panel appears top-right.
Type the event ID, click What is on it? to see the current slide counts and check the ticket looks right. Then choose the file and click Upload.
It reports the slide count before and after. DONE means the count actually went up. If it says NOTHING LANDED, do not rely on the upload.
The panel looks up the event's ticket for you and reads the file into memory before sending, so the "file changed" error can't happen. It also checks the slides actually landed and reports back — you don't have to trust the on-screen preview.
Before you click upload
Status is set to live by default. That's the real slide set the audience sees. preview is a separate set — switch only if you mean to.
Keep existing slides stays ticked. Unticking it deletes every slide already on the event for that language before adding yours. Leave it on unless you're deliberately clearing.
Supported files: PDF, PPT, PPTX, up to 50 MB.
The ticket is filled in automatically. If it looks wrong for your event, type the correct one into the ticket box and it'll use that.
Do a dry run first. Upload a real deck to a spare event once, before the day it matters — so the process is proven, not first-tried under pressure.
